Greenbelly Chirmol
Chirmol is a classic Guatemalan ingredient, a tangy, tart and peppery garlic salsa highlighted by savory herbs. It’s something you’d think to find on the northern coast of Guatemala where the hot climate and close proximity to Mexico bring tomatillos and serranos together. This chirmol is great to pour over eggs, marinate proteins and smother breakfast burritos with. We also like to kick it up even more by combining it with green belly’s hot sauce!
